Ingredients
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Potato - 1 piece
- Broccoli - 10.6 oz
- Green Peas - 3 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
To prepare the soup, first, cook the meat or chicken broth in advance.
Step 2
Peel and dice the onion, carrot, and pepper into small cubes.
Step 3
Peel the potato, wash the broccoli, and separate it into florets.
Step 4
Do not thaw the green peas before cooking.
Step 5
Sauté the onion in a mixture of vegetable and butter, adding salt and pepper.
Step 6
Add the carrot and pepper, and sauté everything together until translucent.
Step 7
Pour the strained broth over the vegetables, bring to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 8
Then add the diced potato and chicken meat from the broth to the soup.
Step 9
Cook until the potato is tender.
Step 10
Add the broccoli and cook on low heat for another 5–7 minutes.
Step 11
Two minutes before finishing, add the peas to the soup.
Step 12
Serve the broccoli and pea soup.
