  • Brussels Sprouts - 2 lbs
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Cream (40%) - 1 cup
  • Butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Panko breadcrumbs - 7.1 oz
  • Gruyère cheese - 1 cup

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut each sprout in half. Transfer to a bowl and add vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 428°F.

Step 3

Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer in a baking dish and bake until tender for 20-30 minutes.

Step 4

Pour the cream over the Brussels sprouts and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, breadcrumbs, and grated cheese. Sprinkle over the Brussels sprouts and bake for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
