Ingredients
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Spanish onions - 3 pieces
- Brussels Sprouts - 2 lbs
- Chopped almonds - 7.1 oz
- Celery salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 5 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt 175 grams of butter in a skillet and sauté the thinly sliced onions for 6-8 minutes until soft and caramelized. Transfer to a plate.
Step 2
Finely shred the Brussels sprouts and boil for 1 minute in salted boiling water. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Step 3
In a clean skillet, heat the vegetable oil and toast the almonds for a few minutes until golden. Transfer to a plate.
Step 4
Melt the remaining butter in the skillet and sauté the Brussels sprouts for 3-4 minutes until tender. Add the onions and almonds, season with salt and pepper, mix, and serve immediately.
