Ingredients
- Pancetta - 2.1 oz
- Shallot - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Brussels Sprouts - 17.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a skillet over medium heat, heat the oil well and sauté the finely chopped pancetta for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
Step 2
Add the finely chopped shallots and sauté for 3-5 minutes until soft.
Step 3
Add the finely chopped garlic and sauté for another minute.
Step 4
Add the shredded Brussels sprouts and sauté until tender for 2-3 minutes, being careful not to let the sprouts lose their color.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper and generously sprinkle with Parmesan.
