Ingredients
- Butter - 8.8 oz
- Canned Crabs - 36 pieces
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Shallot - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the snails under cold water and place them on a paper towel.
Step 2
Once the snails are slightly dry, carefully pull the meat out of the shell and cut off the black tip.
Step 3
Wash and dry the shells.
Step 4
Add the chopped shallots, garlic, and parsley to the softened butter. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Chop the snail meat and add it to the butter mixture. Stuff the shells with the resulting mixture.
Step 6
Place the shells with the butter side up in a dish (escargot dish) and hold in a preheated oven for 7-8 minutes before serving.
