Description
How to turn a salad into a sandwich? It's very simple. Layer all the ingredients of a Caesar salad neatly and press them between halves of ciabatta. This snack can replace a full lunch.
Ingredients
- Caesar Dressing - 2 fl oz
- Pastrami - 1.8 oz
- Marinated cherries - 1.4 oz
- Romaine lettuce - 0.7 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 0.4 oz
- Ciabatta - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place a dry skillet over high heat and heat it up.
Step 2
Open the ciabatta and place the inner side down onto the skillet.
Step 3
Fry for 1 minute on each side. Remove from heat and place on a plate.
Step 4
Spread Caesar dressing on the top and bottom halves of the ciabatta.
Step 5
Wash the romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes.
Step 6
Slice the cherry tomatoes into rounds or halves, and tear the lettuce by hand.
Step 7
Arrange the vegetables on the ciabatta, then add slices of chicken pastrami on top, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Step 8
Close the resulting panini.
