- Camembert cheese - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 6 tablespoons
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Cayenne Pepper - to taste
- Breadcrumbs - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the butter in a heavy-bottomed pot and heat it. Add the flour, mix, then pour in the milk while stirring until there are no lumps. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat. Add the sour cream and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Cut the cheese into small cubes, add it to the sauce, and mix until the mixture is smooth.
Step 2
Pour the cheese cream into a deep dish and refrigerate for at least two hours to cool. Cut the set mixture into squares. Dip them in hot oil, first coating them in beaten eggs with cayenne pepper, then in breadcrumbs. When the diablotins start to turn golden, remove them one by one and place them on a napkin to drain excess fat.
