Ingredients
- Ricotta cheese - 10.6 oz
- Yellow Cherry Tomatoes - 5 pieces
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Dried Rosemary - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh basil leaves - ¼ cup
- Olive Oil - ¼ cup
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the tomatoes into wedges and transfer them to a bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Rub the oregano between your fingers to enhance the aroma and sprinkle it over the tomatoes. Add the chopped basil and olive oil. Gently but thoroughly mix. Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Place one slice of cheese in the center of each plate. Arrange the tomatoes around it and drizzle with the dressing from the bowl. Garnish with basil leaves and serve.
