Ingredients
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 3 heads
- Potato - 17.6 oz
- Celery salt - 2 lbs
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 4 pieces
- Citrus Zest Mix - 2 pieces
- Cheshire Cheese - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a pot, melt the butter and sauté the finely chopped onion for 5 minutes until soft, without letting it brown.
Step 2
Add the peeled and finely chopped potato, peeled and finely chopped celery, broth, sage leaves, and lemon zest. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 30 minutes until the celery is soft and the potato starts to break down.
Step 3
Remove from heat and discard the zest and sage leaves.
Step 4
Stir, slightly mashing to achieve a creamy consistency. Add the finely diced cheese, mix, and serve.
