Ingredients
- Red Leicester Cheese - 6.2 oz
- Celery salt - 2 pieces
- Cheshire Cheese - 6.2 oz
- Celery salt - 1 piece
- Scallions - 2 pieces
- Cayenne Pepper - to taste
- Chili jam - to taste
- Chopped almonds - 2.6 oz
- Mayonnaise - 5 tablespoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the cheese into a large bowl. Add finely chopped celery and green onions. Season with a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Step 2
Add chili sauce and mayonnaise, mix well. Taste and add more chili sauce if necessary.
Step 3
Toast the almonds and crush them. Mix the almond crumbs with paprika powder on a shallow plate.
Step 4
Roll small balls from the cheese mixture using a teaspoon, coating them in almonds. Arrange on a nice plate. Serve or refrigerate.
