Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Fresh Mushrooms - 7.1 oz
- Dry White Wine - 5 fl oz
- Corn Flour for Polenta - 1 tablespoon
- Sage - 0.4 oz
- Gruyère cheese - 21.2 oz
- Cream - 5 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut off the top of the pumpkin and scoop out the flesh.
Step 2
Grease the inside with a tablespoon of oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes at 356°F.
Step 4
In a saucepan, sauté the onion, chili, and garlic. After 4 minutes, add the mushrooms, sauté for about 3 minutes, and pour in the wine.
Step 5
Once the wine comes to a boil, turn off the heat and add the flour, cheese, and sage to the saucepan.
Step 6
Stir until the cheese is completely melted.
Step 7
Add the cream and pour the resulting mixture into the pumpkin.
