Description

Provolone cheese can be replaced with sulguni. Recipe from the show Food with Alex Smith, episode 21.

Ingredients

  • Canned Grape Leaves - 20 pieces
  • Clarified Butter - 1 fl oz
  • Parmesan Cheese - 14.1 oz
  • Buckwheat Groats - 3.5 oz
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Slice the cheese into thin pieces and wrap each slice in a grape leaf. If one leaf is not enough to wrap a piece of cheese, take another.

Step 2

Mix the buckwheat honey with crushed garlic and paprika.

Step 3

Fry the cheese wrapped in leaves in clarified butter and serve with the honey-garlic sauce.
