Description

The ratio of ingredients can be anything. For example, I grate a whole large head of garlic for 4 cheese portions. It's fantastic! Mayonnaise can give a vinegar taste, so I try to use less — just enough to mix well and spread on bread. Do not use 'processed cheese product', only real processed cheese. With 'synthetics', it will be edible, but not what my friends say. If there is sausage cheese with a brown rind — I add it for beauty. Do not add garlic to the ready 'paste' — it is very difficult to mix evenly. It can be used as a sauce for hot potatoes or meat — it's delicious, but the classic way is on bread. No festive table in our family goes without this 'paste' for three generations now. It keeps very well in the refrigerator in a sealed jar — it doesn't spoil for a week and retains its 'marketable appearance'; we haven't tried it longer.

Ingredients

  • Garlic - 6 cloves
  • Mayonnaise - 10.6 oz
  • Sliced Processed Cheese - 4 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour most of the mayonnaise into a container (it's convenient to do this in a wide pot of 1–1.5 liters).

Step 2

Crush or grate the garlic into the mayonnaise using a fine grater. Mix well.

Step 3

Grate the processed cheese on the same grater.

Step 4

Mix again, adding mayonnaise until the desired consistency is achieved.

Step 5

Spread on bread and enjoy your meal!
