Description

In this roll, in addition to vegetable filling, there can also be a meat filling made from ham or sausage, and for a spicy kick, you can add a bit of pesto instead of yogurt to the sauce. Do not roll the roll too tightly, or the filling will fall out.

Ingredients

  • Parmesan Cheese - 1.8 oz
  • Breadcrumbs - 1.8 oz
  • Gruyère cheese - 5.3 oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
  • Paprika - 4 tablespoons
  • Cream - 4 fl oz
  • Yogurt powder - 7 tablespoons
  • Mayonnaise - 7 tablespoons
  • Marinated cherries - 12 pieces
  • Green Butter - 1.8 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Gruyère cheese, egg yolks, and paprika. Add the cream. Stir until a homogeneous mass forms. Separately, beat the egg whites into a foam and gently fold them into the mixture.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 392°F. Line a rectangular baking dish with parchment paper and sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese on the bottom. Pour the mixture into the dish. Smooth the top. Bake for 15 minutes until the crust rises and turns golden.

Step 3

Evenly sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese onto a sheet of paper and place the crust on top. Remove the parchment paper and trim the edges of the crust to make them look neater. Wait for it to cool.

Step 4

Mix the mayonnaise and yogurt. Spread this mixture over the crust in a thick layer. Season with pepper and place halved cherry tomatoes on top. Lay the lettuce leaves over the tomatoes.

Step 5

Roll the crust into a roll from the short end. Before serving, sprinkle with Parmesan.
