Ingredients
- Carrot - 2 pieces
- Cheshire Cheese - 7.1 oz
- Celery salt - 2 pieces
- Onion - 2 heads
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Cauliflower - 28.2 oz
- Nutmeg - a pinch
- English Dry Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the carrots and cut them into large pieces, carefully peel the celery with a knife or vegetable peeler and cut it into large pieces as well. Peel and chop the onion. Peel and mince the garlic. Break the cauliflower into florets.
Step 2
Place a large pot over heat, warm the olive oil in it, and add the vegetables. Stir with a spatula and cook covered for about 10 minutes until the vegetables start to brown.
Step 3
Add about 1.8 liters of water to the pot, cover with a lid, and cook for 10-15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Step 4
Grate the cheese. Add it along with 1 teaspoon of mustard to the pot and then blend everything together with an immersion blender. Add a pinch of nutmeg and stir.
