Ingredients
- Pineapple - 1 piece
- Water - 2 qt
- Ground clove - 2 pieces
- Raw cane sugar - 4.4 oz
- Cinnamon - 1 stick
- Peach Juice - 17 fl oz
- Green peppercorns - 4 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the pineapple very well and cut it up. We will only need the core and the skin of the pineapple. The rest of the pineapple can be sliced and served as an accompaniment to the drink.
Step 2
Place the skin and core of the pineapple, unrefined cane sugar, and spices (black Jamaican peppercorns, a stick of cinnamon, and dried cloves) in a pot. Pour in the water. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for about an hour.
Step 3
Strain the mixture. Add the pineapple juice. Serve the drink warm or chilled.
