- Dill - 8 stalks
- Chicken Broth - 14 cups
- Asparagus - 24.7 oz
- Frozen green bean pods - 15.9 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the leaves from the dill stalks and place them in a pot with the broth. Bring to a boil without covering, and simmer for about 25-30 minutes, until the volume is reduced to 8 cups. Remove the dill stalks.
Step 2
Add diagonally sliced asparagus and peas, and bring to a boil, partially covering. Reduce the heat and cook uncovered until the asparagus is slightly tender, about 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add 3 tablespoons of finely chopped dill, season with salt and pepper to taste.
