Chicken Soup with Garlic Croutons
Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs - 2 pieces
- Salad Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Udon Noodles - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Butter - 0.4 oz
- Safflower Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Beans - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the chicken broth, adding salt to taste.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 4
Melt the butter in a skillet, adding 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil.
Step 5
Sauté the onion and carrot until soft, then add to the broth.
Step 6
Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Place them in the pot.
Step 7
Add the noodles 2 minutes before cooking is complete.

Next, add the bay leaf.

Press 2 cloves of garlic through a garlic press. Turn off the heat and cover the pot.

Cut the bread into small cubes.

Place in a heatproof dish and press 3 cloves of garlic.
