Ingredients
- Wild rice - 1 glass
- Onion - 8.5 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Potato - 10.6 oz
- Chicken Broth - 3 glasses
- 3.2% Milk - 3 glasses
- Wheat Flour - 0,3 glasses
- Sliced Processed Cheese - 10.6 oz
- Chicken fillet - 2 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - ½ spoons
- Salt - ¼ spoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 0.7 oz
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the rice until done. In another pot, boil the chicken, then let it cool and cut it into small pieces.
Step 2
Heat a pot over medium heat and add a bit of vegetable oil. Then add finely chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the broth and diced potatoes. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for 5 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the milk and flour and add it to the soup. Cook for 5 minutes until the soup thickens slightly. Remove from heat and add cheese, rice, chicken, pepper, and salt. Stir until the cheese is melted, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
