- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 spoons
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cumin - 1½ spoons
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 tablespoon
- Paprika - ½ spoons
- Ground Dried Garlic - ¼ spoons
- Dried onion powder - ¼ spoons
- Cayenne Pepper - to taste
- Dried Chamomile - ¼ spoons
- Chickpea - 15 oz
- Arugula - 7.1 oz
- Tomatoes - 1 piece
- Tortillas - 8 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Separate the chickpeas from the liquid and rinse them.
Step 2
Whisk together the soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and spices, then add the chickpeas and mix well.
Step 3
Spread the mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for twenty to forty minutes, until the chickpeas are crispy.
Step 4
Wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and heat them in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then, hang each tortilla on the rack of an oven preheated to 374°F, positioning two bars in the middle of the tortilla so that the edges hang down. Bake for 7-10 minutes until the tortillas become crispy.
Step 5
Place chickpeas in the taco shells, then top with arugula and diced tomatoes.
