Chili Cheese Toasts
Ingredients
- Red Bell Pepper - 1 piece
- Jalapeño pepper - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 7½ tablespoons
- Worcestershire Sauce - 1½ teaspoons
- Cayenne Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- Paprika - 0.1 teaspoons
- Cheddar cheese - 15.9 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Wheat Roll - 1 piece
- Pickles - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grill the bell pepper and jalapeño until the skin is blistered and charred. (You can also roast them on a baking sheet in the oven.)
Step 2
Transfer to a medium bowl and cover with plastic wrap, let steam for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the skin and seeds, finely chop the peppers. In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, and paprika.
Step 4
Add the cheddar cheese and chopped peppers, season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Spread on the bread and cut the bread crosswise into slices. Serve with pickles.
