Ingredients
- Ground meat - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Cumin - 2 teaspoons
- Baking Tomatoes - 1 can
- Canned Baby Beets - 1 can
- Cheese Spread - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Cocoa Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - 2 teaspoons
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 24.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sauté the ground meat in oil directly in the pot, breaking it up well to avoid large clumps.
Step 2
Peel and rinse the vegetables, finely chop the onion.
Step 3
Sauté the onion in a skillet, then add the finely chopped chili pepper. Add ground cumin, pepper, salt, minced garlic, and sauté for a bit.
Step 4
Then transfer the sautéed mixture to the pot with the ground meat, add the tomatoes, and pour in the tomato paste. Add water. Set to medium heat, cover with a lid, and cook for about 45 minutes.
Step 5
After the cooking time is up, add sugar and salt. Add the can of canned beans. Add a spoonful of cocoa powder. Add more water and cook on low heat for another 15 minutes. Serve the chili soup with grated cheese and white bread.
