Description
Chocolate Nut Coffee Drink
Ingredients
- Liquid dark chocolate - to taste
- Water - 2 cups
- Hazelnut - 3 oz
- Freshly brewed green tea - ½ cup
- Cocoa Powder - to taste
- Vanilla salt - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- Ground Cinnamon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make nut milk. In a blender, add the nuts and pour in the water. It's better to soak them overnight if you want to drink this in the morning. I only had hazelnuts, but you can use almonds instead. Blend the milk for about 5–7 minutes, then strain it through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
Step 2
Brew the coffee. You need good, strong coffee; otherwise, the nut flavor will overpower it. I brewed mine in a Nespresso machine.
Step 3
Add grated chocolate to the milk, stir it in. I'm a big chocolate lover, so I added quite a bit. Place it in the microwave for 1.5–2 minutes.
Step 4
In a clean blender, add cinnamon, vanilla sugar, regular sugar (if desired), and cocoa (if you want a stronger chocolate flavor—add more).
Step 5
Pour the milk and coffee into the blender, blend well, and it's ready!
