Clams with Corn and Cilantro in White Wine
Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Shallot - 1 piece
- Habanero Pepper - 1 piece
- Dry White Wine - 2 fl oz
- Clam juice - 12 pieces
- Sweet Corn Sticks - 2 pieces
- Chopped Green Onions - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large pot, heat the olive oil. Add the finely sliced shallot and the seeded and finely sliced jalapeño. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Pour in the wine and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Then quickly add the clams and the corn cobs sliced into thin rounds. Cover and cook, stirring, for 5–7 minutes. After that, remove any unopened shells.
Step 4
Divide into 2 serving bowls and sprinkle with cilantro. Serve immediately.
