Ingredients

  • Potato - 14.1 oz
  • Cod fillet - 7.1 oz
  • Milk - 1 qt
  • Bay leaf - 0.2 oz
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Thyme - 0.1 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Whole egg - 2 pieces
  • Cilantro - 1 bunch
  • Olive Oil - ½ l
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Prepare mashed potatoes.

Step 2

Peel the garlic and press it. Bring the milk to a boil, add the garlic, thyme, and bay leaf. Add the fish to the milk and cook for about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the fish from the milk and let it cool. Mash the fillet and mix it with the mashed potatoes, beat in the egg, add the yolks, salt, and pepper to taste. Finely chop the cilantro and mix it into the potato-fish mixture.

Step 4

Using two tablespoons, form croquettes and fry them in small batches in hot oil.
