Ingredients
- Smoked Salmon Flavored Croutons - 14.1 oz
- Celery salt - 1 piece
- Dill - 1 tablespoon
- Cream - 5 fl oz
- Citrus Zest Mix - 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Horseradish Leaves - 1.1 oz
- Cottage cheese - 8.8 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 5.3 oz
- Gelatin - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the gelatin in cold water.
Step 2
Mix the cream cheese with the cottage cheese and horseradish. Season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and zest.
Step 3
Chop the celery.
Step 4
Whip the cream.
Step 5
Dissolve the gelatin in a saucepan over low heat, mix with 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture, and fold into the main mixture. Fold in the whipped cream.
Step 6
Cut 1/3 of the salmon into small cubes and mix with the cheese mixture. Add dill and celery.
Step 7
Line a mold with plastic wrap, then layer pieces of salmon so they hang over the edges of the container. Spread the filling, smooth it out, and cover with the hanging slices of fish.
Step 8
Refrigerate overnight.
