Cold Borscht with Sour Cream
Ingredients
- Yellow Beets - 3 pieces
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Scallions - 4 pieces
- 20% Sour Cream - 4 tablespoons
- Salt - 0.4 oz
- Sugar - 0.4 oz
- Spices - 0.2 oz
- Cucumbers - 4 pieces
- Water - 15 glasses
- Vinegar essence - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Then combine the carrot with the beets and add hot water to the pot, season with salt and pepper, add sugar and spices. Bring to a boil. Cool down.
Step 2
In a bowl, place sliced cucumber and a couple of green onion tops, a boiled peeled egg cut in half, and pour the soup over it, adding sour cream on top.
Step 3
Peel the beets and wash them. Then slice them into strips and sauté in a pot with vegetable oil and vinegar.
Step 4
Separately, sauté the peeled carrot, cut into strips, until cooked.
