Description
Green tea has always paired well with mint and lemon. In this recipe, their trio is enhanced with another flavor: not just green tea, but green jasmine tea.
Ingredients
- Mint Leaves - 0.7 oz
- Green jasmine tea bags - 12 pieces
- Boiling water - 32 fl oz
- Honey - 3 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 4 fl oz
- Cold water - 24 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the tea bags and mint leaves in a bowl, reserving a few for garnish. Pour hot water over them, not boiling, cover, and let steep for 2–3 minutes.
Step 2
Strain the tea into a large pitcher.
Step 3
While the tea is still hot, add lemon juice and honey to dissolve. Pour in the cold water and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 4
Serve garnished with the reserved mint leaves and ice.
