Ingredients
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 3 tablespoons
- White Beans - 14.1 oz
- Celery salt - 5 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Parsley - 1 bunch
- Salt - to taste
- Mild Chili Spice - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Fresh basil leaves - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
To shorten the cooking time, soak the beans in warm water overnight. Drain and place in a pot, adding enough water to cover the beans by about three fingers. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cover. Cook until the beans are soft. Then drain and cool.
Step 2
Finely chop the parsley, celery leaves, and basil.
Step 3
Crush the garlic with a knife and finely chop.
Step 4
Cut the chili peppers in half, remove the seeds, and finely chop.
Step 5
Chop the onion and sauté in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add the tomato paste and sauté for 2–3 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
Step 6
In a deep dish, mix all the ingredients, season with salt, and garnish with cilantro.
