Description
Cold Salmon and Cream Cheese Appetizer
Ingredients
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Smoked Salmon Flavored Croutons - 14.1 oz
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 14.1 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Scallions - 0.4 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the eggs. Meanwhile, slice the salmon into thin, even pieces. Take a muffin tin and line the bottom of each 'muffin' with plastic wrap. This is to make it easier to remove the finished appetizer from the molds.
Step 2
Place a piece of fish at the bottom of each mold, allowing the edges to hang over. Now prepare the filling. Finely chop the hard-boiled eggs. You can use a blender for this. Do the same with the garlic and green onion. The finer, the better. Mix all of this with the cream cheese, adding salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Next, fill each mold with the mixture and fold the overhanging edges of the fish over like an envelope. Wrap the plastic wrap around it as well. The filling should slightly overflow from the mold.
Step 4
When everything is ready, press down on the 'muffins' with something to compact the filling. For example, place a cutting board on top and put a jar of water on it. Place the entire setup in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Step 5
To remove the appetizer, gently pull on the edges of the plastic wrap.
