Ingredients
- Cornish Hen - 1 piece
- Water - 2½ liters
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Ginger - 1.4 oz
- Garlic - 0.5 oz
- Red Curry Powder - 2 tablespoons
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- White Pepper (whole) - 1 teaspoon
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Ocean salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the ginger, garlic, and carrot.
Step 2
Chop the carrot into small pieces.
Step 3
Crush the garlic with a chef's knife.
Step 4
Do the same with the ginger.
Step 5
Cut the Cornish hen in half and place it in a pot.
Step 6
Pour in drinking water and set over high heat. Skim off any foam that appears with a slotted spoon or ladle.
Step 7
Once the water boils, reduce the heat and add the carrot. The total cooking time after boiling is 20 minutes.

After 10 minutes, add the ginger and garlic.

Add the bay leaf.

Cover with a lid.

Three minutes before the cooking is done, add the curry, black, and white pepper.

Crack the eggs into the broth and add the chopped herbs.

Season with salt.
