Cottage Cheese with Dorblu
Ingredients
- Kefir - 1 qt
- Dorbly Cheese - 1.8 oz
- Ocean salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the kefir in the freezer for 24 hours.
Step 2
Remove the kefir from the packaging.
Step 3
Transfer the kefir to a special cheese mold. If you don't have one, you can use regular cheesecloth folded in several layers. Leave at room temperature for a few hours until completely thawed.
Step 4
When the whey drains into the bowl, the cottage cheese will remain in the strainer. Drain the whey, it will no longer be needed.
Step 5
Transfer the cheese to a storage container.
Step 6
Add salt.
Step 7
Mix thoroughly.
Step 8
Finely chop the Dorblu.
Step 9
Add the Dorblu to the cottage cheese.
Step 10
Mix thoroughly.
Step 11
Transfer to a bowl and serve. Store in the refrigerator for about 3 days.
