Ingredients
- Champignons - 10.6 oz
- Potato - 4 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Cream 22% - 17 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place 4–5 medium potatoes in a pot to boil.
Step 2
Clean the onion and mushrooms. Finely chop the onion and slice the mushrooms. Sauté the onion in butter until it becomes translucent, then add the mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are done, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
Step 3
When the potatoes are cooked, drain the water, but you might want to keep a cup of the cooking water just in case. Add the mushrooms and onions to the potatoes, then stir in the cream, salt, and pepper, and blend until smooth. If you find the soup too thick, add that reserved water.
Step 4
Serve with croutons.
