Ingredients
- Onion - 17.6 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Potato - 10.6 oz
- Milk - 13 fl oz
- Water - 13 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Blue Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Parsley - to taste
- Cream - 6 tablespoons
- Broccoli - 7.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a pot and sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic until soft, but not browned. Add the diced potato and broccoli florets and mix well.
Step 2
Add the milk and water, bring to a boil, and add salt and pepper to taste. Reduce the heat and cook until the vegetables are soft. Transfer to a blender and blend well.
Step 3
Pour back into the pot, add the finely chopped cheese, and heat on low until the cheese is completely melted. Serve immediately, adding a spoonful of cream to each bowl and garnishing with parsley.
