- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Shallot - 1.2 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Salmon - 12 oz
- Chicken Broth - 1 tablespoon
- Smoked Salmon Flavored Croutons - 8.1 oz
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 4.1 oz
- Citrus Zest Mix - 1 teaspoon
- Dijon Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - 0.1 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a skillet, melt the butter over low heat. Add finely chopped shallot and finely chopped carrot. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring once.
Step 2
Cut the salmon steak lengthwise and place it on top of the vegetables. Drizzle with broth, cover, and cook for another 10 minutes until the fish is done. Remove the skin and bones from the fish.
Step 3
Transfer the fish with vegetables to a blender and add finely chopped smoked salmon, mascarpone, grated lemon zest, mustard, and black pepper. Blend until smooth, but leave some small pieces of fish, and chill before serving.
