- Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
- French Baguette - 1 piece
- Brown Sugar - ¼ cup
- Green Figs - 1.8 oz
- Red Grape Juice - 1 cup
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves - ½ teaspoon
- Goat cheese - 5.3 oz

Preheat the grill.

Slice the baguette into 24 pieces and brush both sides with olive oil. Grill for 1–2 minutes on each side.

In a saucepan, combine finely chopped figs, sugar, wine, thyme, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until slightly thickened, about 7–9 minutes. Let cool.
Step 4
