Description
This recipe is suitable for both red and black currants.

- Red Currant - 10.6 oz
- Water - 1 qt
- Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thoroughly wash the currants, separating the clusters from the berries.
Step 2
Pass the berries through a sieve, squeezing the juice from the berries. Place the extracted currant juice in the refrigerator.
Step 3
In a pot, place the berry pulp and pour in the water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then cook on low heat for another 5 minutes. At the end of cooking, add sugar to taste and stir well.
Step 4
Cover the pot with the drink and let it cool for about 30 minutes. Then strain the drink through a sieve and squeeze the pulp well.
Step 5
Pour the drink into a pitcher, let it cool to room temperature, and add the previously extracted juice.
