Ingredients
- Butter - 3.5 oz
- Celery salt - 1.8 oz
- Carrot - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 1.4 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.6 oz
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 4.4 oz
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Dill - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In heated butter, sauté the peeled, washed, finely chopped slices of carrot, celery, and chopped onion, add flour, sauté, and pour in water or broth. Cook until the roots are tender.
Step 2
Remove the cooked roots, pass them through a sieve, and return the purée to the broth.
Step 3
Season the soup with a mixture of the mashed yolk and sour cream, and add the juice of one lemon. When serving, generously sprinkle with dill.
