Ingredients
- Dough for dumplings - 15.9 oz
- Prunes - 14.1 oz
- Sugar - 1.8 oz
- Cottage cheese - 3.5 oz
- Sour Cream - 1 jar
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the prunes in warm water for 40 minutes to swell. Then drain the water.
Step 2
Pour 2 cups of boiling water over the soaked prunes and cook until tender, then cool.
Step 3
Pass the cooked prunes through a sieve, add sugar to the resulting puree, and warm over low heat, then cool again.
Step 4
Combine the cottage cheese with the prune puree and mix well.
Step 5
Roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut out circles using a round cutter.
Step 6
Place filling on each circle, fold the edges of the dough together, and pinch to seal.
Step 7
Cook the dumplings in salted boiling water for 5 minutes. Serve with sour cream and garnish with herbs.
