Ingredients
- Herbed Tofu - 24.7 oz
- Herbed Tofu - 12.3 oz
- Panko breadcrumbs - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Sesame Oil - 1 cup
- Shallot - 5 pieces
- Bacon - 4 slices
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Line a baking sheet with 6 layers of paper towels, place the tofu on top, cover with 6 layers of paper towels, place another baking sheet and a skillet on top, and refrigerate for 6-12 hours to drain the liquid. Transfer the cheese to a large bowl, mash with a fork, add the breadcrumbs, flour, sesame oil, finely chopped shallots, cooked bacon slices, and lightly beaten eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
Step 2
Heat a skillet over high heat and add the oil. Using 2 spoons, form balls from the dough and fry until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining dough. Serve the dumplings hot with a sauce of your choice. Enjoy your meal!
