Description
Another great example of the friendship between eggplant and tahini sesame paste. Here, they are brought together with olive oil and honey. Recipe by chef John Smith.
Ingredients
- Eggplants - 17.6 oz
- Tahini - 1.8 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 fl oz
- Salt - 0.3 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - 0.1 oz
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Honey - 0.4 oz
- Scallions - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the eggplants and grill them for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Place the hot eggplants in a box and cover with a lid to make them easier to peel.
Step 3
After 10 minutes, peel the eggplant.
Step 4
Chop roughly.
Step 5
Add tahini.
Step 6
Add lemon juice.
Step 7
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Add honey.
Step 9
Drizzle with olive oil.
Step 10
Garnish with green onions.
