Eggs baked with mashed potatoes

Ingredients

  • Salad Potatoes - 2 lbs
  • Butter - 2.8 oz
  • Milk - 8 fl oz
  • Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 6 pieces
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Boil the potatoes and make mashed potatoes by adding 50 grams of butter and warm milk. Add 85 grams of grated cheese to the mashed potatoes.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 320°F. Melt 10 grams of butter in a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes in it. Use the back of a spoon to make 6 indentations in the potato mixture, sprinkle with grated cheese, and bake for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Then remove the mashed potatoes from the oven and crack one egg into each indentation. Lightly salt the egg whites and place the remaining butter on the yolks. Return everything to the oven and bake until the eggs are done. Serve immediately without removing from the dish.
