Description
This is a very interesting way to dye eggs for the holiday. The shimmering effect is achieved from the sugar dissolved in the wine. The longer you keep the eggs in the wine-sugar syrup, the more intense the color will be, and the shimmer will be more pronounced. Unlike simply dyed eggs, the surface in this case will be rough and sparkly. There is no need to grease them with oil, as you would with smoothly dyed eggs. Similarly, it is possible to dye eggs any other color using white wine and food coloring.
