Fish Solyanka with Squid
Ingredients
- Chum Salmon Caviar - 10.6 oz
- Squid - 10.6 oz
- Onion - 4 pieces
- Parsley - 2 pieces
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Olives stuffed with lemon - 1 tablespoon
- Kalamata olives - 1 tablespoon
- Sour Cream - 3 tablespoons
- Lemon - ½ piece
- Herbs - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Spices - to taste
- Pickles - 2 pieces
- Water - 2 qt
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the fish from skin and bones, cut into small pieces, and sauté.
Step 2
Cut the squid into strips, sauté as well, and combine the squid broth with the fish stock.
Step 3
Slice the onion and parsley root into strips, sauté with tomato paste in butter.
Step 4
Sauté the sliced pickles. Add the vegetables and olives to the boiling broth, and cook until ready.
Step 5
When serving, place a few pieces of fish, a spoonful of squid, and olives in each bowl, pour over the solyanka, add sour cream, lemon, and finely chopped herbs.
