Ingredients

  • Pike - 2 lbs
  • Salad Potatoes - 2 lbs
  • Carrot - 1 piece
  • Salmon - 14.1 oz
  • Salt - 3 teaspoons
  • Lemon-Pepper Mix - 1 teaspoon
  • Bay leaf - 3 pieces
  • Dill - 0.7 oz
  • Parsley - 0.4 oz
  • Spices - 5 pieces
  • Green peppercorns - 5 pieces
  • Dill - 3 pieces

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Remove the gills from the pike heads. Wash the pike heads and fins thoroughly. Clean the salmon steak from scales and wash it well under running water.

Place the prepared heads and fins in a pot, cover with water, and put on the heat.

Peel the potatoes, carrot, and onion, and wash them well under running water.

Cut the potatoes into medium-sized sticks. Cover with water and set aside.

Cut the carrot into sticks.

When the broth comes to a boil, remove all the foam.

Add the salmon steak to the pot, and if necessary, remove the foam again after boiling.

Add the onion, 2 teaspoons of salt, black allspice, black peppercorns, well-washed dill flowers, and bay leaves to the broth. Cook for 20 minutes.

Finely chop the dill.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the salmon steak from the broth onto a plate and let it cool slightly. Separate the meat from the bone and distribute it onto serving plates. Continue to cook the broth for another 10 minutes.

Remove the pike heads and fins from the broth. Let them cool slightly and separate the fish meat from the bones. Distribute onto plates.

Strain the broth through a fine sieve.

Add the chopped potatoes, carrot, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of pepper mix to the broth. Cook for about 30 more minutes.

When the potatoes and carrots are ready, add the chopped dill to the pot. Cook for another 5 minutes, then pour the finished fish soup into plates and serve immediately.
