Ingredients
- Star anise - a pinch
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 10.6 oz
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Farm fresh eggs - 5 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Nigella Seeds - a pinch
- Cinnamon - a pinch
- Mild Chili Spice - a pinch
- Ground clove - a pinch
- Toasted Sesame - to taste
- Scallions - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the carrot finely. Heat the oil in a skillet. Sauté the carrot for 1–2 minutes, then push it to the side and pour the beaten eggs into the empty space. Fry for 1–2 minutes, then add the shrimp, soy sauce, and the five traditional Chinese spices — star anise, fennel, cinnamon, cloves, and pepper. Mix everything together. Fry for 3–4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink.
Step 2
Transfer the shrimp to a warm plate, sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
