Ingredients
- Pitted olives - 5 pieces
- Ground fennel seeds - ¼ cup
- Water - 6 cups
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place the flax seeds in a blender and add water.
Step 2
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes.
Step 3
Slowly strain the mixture into a large bowl through cheesecloth.
Step 4
After all the liquid is extracted, strain the milk back into the blender, then again through cheesecloth into the bowl.
Step 5
Pour the milk into the blender, add the dates. Blend the mixture on high for about 2 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the foam by passing the liquid through a fine sieve or simply scoop the foam off with a spoon. Voila!
Step 7
The milk can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. Shake before serving to restore the mixture's consistency.
