Description

Fondue with goat cheese, bacon, and potatoes

Ingredients

  • Bacon - 15.9 oz
  • New Potatoes - 2 lbs
  • Bay leaf - to taste
  • Milk - 8 fl oz
  • Thyme - 0.2 bunches
  • Semi-soft cream cheese - 7.1 oz
  • Goat cheese - 4.1 oz
  • Potato protein - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 392°F. Stretch the bacon strips and cut them in half crosswise. Wrap the small potatoes in bacon, adding a bay leaf, and place them on a baking sheet. Season with pepper and bake for half an hour, until the potatoes are tender and the bacon is crispy.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of milk with finely chopped thyme, add the cheeses, and whisk until smooth. Mix the remaining milk with the starch and add to the fondue, season, place on a burner, and sprinkle with thyme on top. Dip the cooked potatoes into the cheese.
