Ingredients
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Leek - 2 pieces
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Potato - 7.1 oz
- Cream 22% - 17 fl oz
- Cheshire Cheese - 3.2 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 3.2 oz
- Pizza Mozzarella Cheese - 3.2 oz
- Blue Cheese - 3.2 oz
- White bread - 5.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Cut the bread into cubes, place them in a bag, add vegetable oil, a pinch of salt, and shake well.
Step 3
Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Step 4
Thoroughly wash the leek and slice the white part into half-rings. The green part can be frozen and used for broth in the future.
Step 5
In a pot, melt the butter and sauté the onion for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Step 6
Peel and chop the potatoes.
Step 7
Add the potatoes to the pot and pour in the broth.
Step 8
Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat until the potatoes are cooked through, about 15–20 minutes.
Step 9
Grate all the cheeses except for the blue cheese. Cut the blue cheese into cubes or break it into small pieces.
Step 10
Add the cream and cheese to the pot with the soup.
Step 11
Blend the soup until smooth.
Step 12
Serve the finished 'Four Cheese' soup with croutons.
