French Meat Sandwich
Ingredients
- Sesame bun - 4 pieces
- Medium-dry sherry - 16 fl oz
- Beef - 28.2 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Marinated cherries - 8 pieces
- Beer - 4 fl oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Eel - 8 pieces
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 0.7 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, slice the onion into rings and sauté it with finely chopped bell pepper and garlic slices for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Then add the finely chopped tomatoes and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the wine and beer, and simmer uncovered until half of the liquid evaporates. At the end of cooking, add the sautéed flour and chopped herbs.
Step 4
The meat can be cut into portions and fried, but I baked it in an air fryer. I also kept the buns in there for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Then, on the buns, place a leaf of lettuce, the meat, vegetables, and either cover with another bun or serve as is.
